Bute Islands's Mature Cheddar style Sheese is a 100% soya and dairy free cheese alternative made with coconut oil. Certified Vegan & Kosher (Pareve), it’s free from lactose, gluten and palm oil and is produced using animal free processes. Perfect for vegans and anybody looking to substitute dairy from their diet.
Great taste, great texture, it's perfect sliced or melted and can be used in any form of traditional cheesy recipe.
Bute Island Foods has been producing hand-crafted, completely animal and dairy free cheese since 1994. The production process is completely animal free in a dedicated Free From Factory on the idyllic Isle of Bute in Scotland, with everything performed to the highest ethical standards.
The directors of the company are all unable or unwilling to eat dairy or animal products so are all personally committed to researching, developing and producing top of the range alternatives to animal cheese, ensuring that taste and texture is paramount.
